Woodmont Christian Church & Bell Tower Nashville Wedding: Lauren & Jordan

With its sky scraping steeple, Lauren would drive by Woodmont Christian Church everyday on her way home and couldn't wait for the day she would marry Jordan there.  Lauren's laughter is so infectious and the way they both adore each other is my favorite thing about them.  We were so honored to be in Nashville and can't thank them enough for letting us share in these moments with them!  They had so many sentimental moments and surprises for each other that had everyone reaching for their hanky.   It was also hard for me not to get teary-eyed as well!  Many of my favorite moments were at the reception at The Bell Tower, when The Lewis Copeland Band had everyone out on the dance floor and onstage.  Both Lauren and Jordan got up on the stage a few times and I felt like we were at a concert, which was very fitting seeing as how were were in Nashville, y'all!

She choose the glamorous Hermitage Hotel which is part of Nashville’s history to get ready at.

Jordan surprised her with a custom embroidered handkerchief with the words to a song he sings to her and the dates of when they met, their engagement and wedding day. She completely melted when she saw it and she wrapped that handkerchief around her bouquet to carry with her all day.

They chose to have a "First Look" to recreate the moment she walked down the aisle before the ceremony.  That moment was priceless...

I loved that Jordan had his tux custom made and choose all the fabrics and styling.  He said if Lauren got to wear a special dress made for her, he would do the same.  Lauren was so excited to see it all together!

We even did the family portraits before the ceremony, so everyone could enjoy the party!

After the cake was cut, Lauren surprised Jordan with his favorite desert - chocolate ice cream in the St. Louis Cardinal’s baseball hats (his favorite team).

Several of their friends, came up on stage and belted their favorite song with Lauren and Jordan in the crowd singing along at the top of their lungs!

Jordan’s fraternity brother’s sang the “Star Spangled Banner” during the sparkler exit, a Vanderbilt tradition.  They looked like old hollywood movie stars as they hopped into a London Taxi Cab for their get away!
